The Big Cahoona Hill was very comfortable. The stove went out during our stay. Oak Island Accommodations responded immediately to resolve the problem and the stove was replaced during the week. We could use the cooktop so all was well. The dog area under the house was perfect!

Well stocked kitchen. Nice setup for dogs. Furniture in good shape and was clean. Very nice beach decor. Very well kept property. We really enjoyed our stay at this property and definitely would stay again.

This is our second time to The Big Cahoona house. We love the upgrades that were made in the last 2 years since we were there. You can not beat the proximity to beach. My favorite area for reading a book and drinking my morning coffee, is the covered porch with the gated deck. My small dog can be out there with me and I do not have to worry about her. Great place, we will definitely rent again in the future.

My husband and I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend to escape our busy lives and it was a dream come true! The home is beautifully decorated, very comfortable furniture and fully stocked kitchen! This house was even more pleasing outside with the beach being literally steps to the water! The covered porch with two sitting areas provided us with shade during the morning and afternoon hours. We loved it here and will be back!

We enjoyed our visit very much. The proximity of the house to the beach is wonderful, and our little dogs enjoyed beach walks as much as we did. The house is very well appointed, and the owners provided everything that we needed during our visit.

This home has the views, the sound of the surf and a bonus of a pod of dolphins! The owners obviously love dogs and our two enjoyed their stay too. The many decks have gates giving our dogs freedom to enjoy the outdoors securely. The covered deck gave us time out of the sun, or we could lounge on the sun decks ... We appreciated the enclosed fence under the house for our furry friends. The home is decorated in nautical style, kitchen well stocked and bedrooms comfortable ... We would definitely recommend this house. Oak Island Accommodations couldn’t have been nicer, fixing a few minor issues in a friendly, timely and caring manner. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

We absolutely loved the home, especially all of the gates. It made us feel very safe with our toddler knowing that she could not get to the beach or road without an adult to open the gates. We fully intend to rent the home again next summer. Even though it was our first time renting the home we could tell it had been updated. We also had friends with us who brought their dogs and they really appreciated all of the gates as well.

My wife and I had a very nice time at your place on Oak Island. We found it to be one of the nicer places we have rented over the years while vacationing on the island. We are not able to vacation there every year, but we would certainly consider Big Cahoona Hill in future. Our pups loved it too!

Where to start! Loved Big Cahoona Hill. It was a fantastic fit for our family of seven. The house was lovely and very well appointed kitchen and well stocked, all apps worked well. The beds were comfortable with lots of great pillows! Big Cahoona Hill was great for our pup. With all the gates and locks we felt he was very safe and secure. Thanks so much for that! Thank you so much for sharing your place with us and hopefully, will be back next year! I would highly recommend BCH. Y'all have a fantastic place!
