Dog friendly (1 dog up to 25 pounds allowed). This vacation rental welcomes up to 1 dog per reservation year-round.

Two flat screen TV's (52" flat screen TV in living room) with extended cable, wireless internet. Oceanfront covered deck with rocking chairs and child/pet gates, enclosed hot and cold outside shower plus rinse off at steps off beach, covered parking beneath house. Just steps to beach access, walking distance to pier and beach club. Oceanfront master bedroom has a king bed, bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, sliding glass door to deck and a flat screen TV. No smoking.

This was our third time at Mead Us at the Pier, but the first two times were long ago. It's been updated and was just the right size for our family of four (it can sleep more, but it was a comfortable size for us.) It's nice that the house is near the Oak Island Pier, where you can walk out for free. Also, we are big fans of Haag and Sons, and we walked to it daily to get our dinner.

Great location! This made the place an absolute wonderful vacay spot. Home itself is good, but would not want to be cooped up inside for too long.

The porch with all the rocking chairs was wonderful! We also appreciated the doggy gates on the porch. Our dog had a great time out there! The location of the house is perfect because it's close to the bridge to Southport and the pier. The beds were very comfortable too. We really liked the linens being sealed in plastic waiting for us, that made us feel like they were really clean. Also, the parking underneath the house was nice!
