Family pictures on the walls reflect magical memories built throughout the years, and guests have built their own memories over the years by returning to the Sandpiper again and again with their loved ones. You and your friends and family are invited to experience the warmth and beauty of Oak Island at this oceanfront family haven. The west end of Oak Island is a great place to view egrets, pelicans, dolphins, and more. The gentle surf is perfect for swimming, walking, or relaxing on the porch and enjoying the soothing ocean sounds.

With the interior of the house providing panoramic views, you may never want to leave. When you do decide to venture out for exploration, SANDPIPER is only a few miles from restaurants, shopping, and golf.

The homeowners of SANDPIPER invite you to share their home and make your own personal vacation memories today. SANDPIPER has been recently updated and the interior reflects a unique "beachy" experience.

Though pets are not allowed in this home, please note that a dog may be present during an owner stay for those guests allergic to pets.

We loved the amount of kitchen utensils and appliances available. We enjoyed the many games available and reading through the history books of the home through the hurricanes over the past decades to impact the Oak Island area.

One of our favorite houses on the island

This is our second visit to the Sandpiper and we really like the cottage. We have been coming to Oak Island since 1982 and this cottage is one of our favorites. We love the easy access to the beach and the covered porch. There are lots of games included in the house which is a plus. All in all, a very comfortable cottage.
