Ground floor recreation room with 42” extended cable TV with all channels, bar with stool seating and refrigerator, piano, twin bedroom, full bathroom and laundry room.

The third level features two large king bedroom suites with two full bathrooms and an additional oceanfront living room with bar height table and chairs, desk and sleeper sofa. Enclosed outside shower with hot and cold water, two-car garage, charcoal grill, three kayaks, many bicycles, beach chairs and boogie boards.

Wonderful gathering space for our 12 member family, great round table where 12 guests can sit and eat together, great sofa and chair arrangements for talking, reading and watching videos. All spacious rooms for our guests. Terrific locations for beach time and swimming for children and adults. Good outdoor shower and inside showers for each room.

We have rented Jonah's Whale for the past 3/4 years. We like the locale as it is quiet and somewhat secluded. It has room for our family of 13 to spread out when needed. It appears that our suggestions in the past to upgrade/improve the air conditioning have been acted upon. Thanks! We also enjoyed the new outside shower. Makes cleaning up sandy "littles" so much easier.

Fantastic time. Beautiful weather during entire stay. Great accommodations with access to the beach. Fully equipped kitchen with with plenty of space for multiple cooks. Plenty of room for drop in guests. Planning now for another stay..

Jonah’s Whale is an amazing place! Incredible ocean views, the home is very well and creatively appointed and furnished. The beach home lays out very well as far the architecture and the flow. The owners obviously thought things through very well. Anybody who rents the place will likely not be disappointed. Perfect location, dunes are well built up in front of the home unlike other areas Oak Island which has under gone a lot of beach erosion. A true gem of a beach house.

Overall had a great trip! Oak island is more relaxed and less commercial than Wilmington, the beach was beautiful and not very crowded although early in season, the house got all of our needs well and was very comfortable, lots of extras like boats and bikes in the garage ...

We stayed at Jonah's Whale for the 2023 Thanksgiving Weekend. A wonderful place for our family to be in one place to spend time together. Everything about the Whale as perfect for our family. Great family space, great kitchen, great bedrooms, great bathrooms, and great deck !! I liked the mixture of furniture styles and especially the big round dining table and chairs. We love Caswell Beach!!
