Guests to A Bit O'Heaven will find cheerfully decorated, spacious rooms with hand-painted murals in this coastal vacation rental. Great for children, this home is located in a secluded cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood just 200 feet from the beach. There are no busy streets to cross as you walk to the beach.

Situated on pilings, the home offers panoramic views of the ocean at both sunrise and sunset with just a short 1/4 mile walk to the Oak Island Pier. Covered front porch with rocking chairs and back deck with seating. You can choose the sunny or shady side of the house, both with ocean views while you hear the waves breaking. Extra-large enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water.

Claim the two-seater swing for an afternoon nap on the back deck with the rhythmically crashing waves and melodious birds. Enjoy a good book while rocking on the front porch, sheltered from the sun, feeling the gentle breezes, .....therapeutic and a "Bit O' Heaven''!!

Flat screen TV ready to log in through your streaming service with high speed wireless internet in the living room and master bedroom.

Nightly rentals available with a stay of three nights or more.

We just left A Bit O Heaven this morning following a weeklong three-generational vacation. We loved the house, the location, everything about our stay. I highly recommend this property.

We have been having such a wonderful time on Oak Island that we will be wistful upon leaving it. Bit O'Heaven completely lives up to its name--beautiful and comfortable inside and out. The chilly weather in no way impacted our long walks along the beach or the gorgeous views from both decks. If we could give it one hundred stars, we would.

We loved the location. Having the vinyl plank floors throughout was a real plus. There was plenty of parking. More comfortable seating in the den would be nice.

Pros: easy beach access; three baths, four bedrooms, well-stocked kitchen. Cons: TV only in one bedroom and living; no directions for use so could only get into Netflix by playing with for hours; roaches that were on the maintenance department to do list, but didn’t get sprayed till mid week; trundle bed room only had two wee drawers and no closet and beds were not made. Overall check-in at 4 p.m. makes for a very short week.

This house was just about perfect. Everything was very clean & welcoming upon arrival. The rooms were nicely decorated and comfortable. The kitchen was easy & well appointed to accommodate a week away from home. Just a beautiful bit of heaven as it is a VERY short walk to the beach (2 mins from the back porch!) We loved this house!!
