Two covered decks plus a sun deck with lounge chairs, rockers and a picnic table. Two outdoor showers (one with hot and cold water). This vacation rental welcomes up to two dogs per reservation year-round.

High-speed internet, and 5 TV's (Cable TV in the living room with DVD/Blu-ray player. Four TV's with streaming capabilities in the bedrooms).

Dining seating for eight plus four bar stools. Refrigerator in kitchen. Washer and dryer access from the front porch. Ceiling fan in the living room, carpet throughout and HVAC. Games, puzzles and lots of books.

Afternoon Delight is convenient to local activities, shops, and restaurants, as well as the bridge leading to historic Southport and its numerous shops and historic points of interest. So whether your idea of a vacation is to taking long naps in the island breeze, exploring local landmarks, or teeing up for 18 holes at one of the area's playable but challenging golf courses, you will find your island home at Afternoon Delight!

House is nice considering it's an older build. Overall we enjoyed our stay until the last two nights when the AC kept going out on us. While OIA did their best to send out technicians we unfortunately had to cut our trip short because we're have two young kids who couldn't be in the 80+ degree house.

We're so sorry that you encountered HVAC issues during your stay. We see from our notes that while our overnight support staff was responsive and able to temporarily get the unit running again, you experienced a series of delays when trying to connect with the external vendor for a permanent repair the next day. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience you experienced. We can confirm that the HVAC was repaired as of a few hours after your early departure, and the property owner has changed to a different HVAC vendor for any future issues. We hope that we can welcome you back in the future!

Overall, we were very pleased with Afternoon Delight, which we rented for the first time and would certainly return to. We loved the layout of the house and found it very bright and comfortable. The easy access to the beach was wonderful! It was clean and welcoming. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. We loved the appliances and the coffee bar. It was great to have our pet with us.

Afternoon Delight was clean and spacious. We loved the living room furniture, smart TV and ample comfortable beds for our group of 8. The coffee bar/ mini fridge was an added bonus for housing out vacation beverages.

Afternoon Delight was just that. The decor is very appropriate and well done. The housewares include everything you can need. The property even includes items not in the listing - wooden beach chairs, games for inside and outside, everything you need for the ideal stay. The view from the deck is perfect. Location is good, close enough to make easy runs for essentials but far enough away to reduce the congestion.
