This bright beach cottage, perched steps away from the water, features an open concept living area filled with natural light. Across the front of the cottage, an oceanfront Carolina Room is the ideal spot to watch as the sky and water are painted with color while enjoying the glorious sunrises and sunsets. There are two TV's with basic cable and wireless internet access.

Outside, you’ll find an expansive sundeck and an enclosed outside shower with hot and cold water off of this beach cottage that boasts hardy board siding. Downstairs you’ll also find a porch swing nestled in the cool shadows of the house that provides a private respite to listen to the sound of the surf. Guests may park in the concrete driveway and utilize the parking area under the home.

This vacation rental welcomes up to two dogs per reservation year-round.

We loved the house, it was well-equipped for our needs. Loved the porch and sat out there a lot of the time. The included linens were great. Next year I won’t bring as many towels.

We love staying right on the beach. My wife and I get up early in the morning and walk along the surf and watch the sunrise. Easy check in and check out and pet friendly. It was our golden retriever’s first trip to the beach, and she loved it as much as we do. Every place we have stayed has been clean and comfortable. We try to make Oak Island our vacation destination every year, and have used OIA every time.

Really enjoyed our Oak Island stay. Oak Island Accommodations was very responsive to any questions I had, and our trip was great! We had one issue where one of the windows had a gap where the wind was blowing in on a particularly windy day. I contacted the agency, and a maintenance man was out to fix it in a very short amount of time. We will definitely consider Oak Island Accommodations for our future rentals.

This was a wonderful place for my family to gather granddaughter from Durham for a few days, grandson from Raleigh for a few days, son from Wilmington every day (so he could cook fresh seafood for us from nearby market), and friends from home (Alabama) who came for sun, sand, and golf. Some of my favorite things: sunrises and sunsets (gorgeous), dolphins swimming by, sitting on the beach with family and friends, golf at Oak Island CC, and mostly, my sweet dog running in and out of the surf. Love that dogs are allowed on beach and that people were courteous in picking up after theirs. The house was perfect for us with more than enough beds. Kitchen was very well stocked with dishes and cooking items. The sunroom and deck was perfect for wave watching. Cant wait to come again!
