The vacation rental was great and reminded me of Oak Island houses from our first few years down at OKI in the 90's. Lots of fun decor and furniture! The beach access was so perfect, was fun to sit on the porch and look right down our own access! A few more deck chairs would have been much appreciated. There wasn't enough seating for our 7 people. That being said it was a beautiful rental.

Boys Oh Boy was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked. We loved the proximity to beach access and the view!! Beds were very comfortable.

Boys oh Boy is the classic Carolina beach cottage with beautiful pine paneling, ceiling and exposed beams. The layout is perfect for our family and we love the deep porch that has shade all day long. Ocean views through the large window are spectacular! Happy to find such a nice small cottage that is also pet friendly for our mini poodle and Cavapoo.

Wonderful for my husband to get down to the beach without problems. He has trouble walking because of the war. View of the fishing from the deck. Sunset pictures. Coffee in the morning watching the sun come up over the ocean. This location is a fantastic place. We will be staying again many times in the future. We had a fantastic time and the house had everything we needed to make your stay like home. If you’re coming to Oak Island make sure to ask for the Boys oh boy location. Lots of room.

We and our dogs loved our fall vacation at Boysohboy! It was wonderful to relax on the porch and look at the ocean, walk on the beach and relax. The house did have an unpleasant odor when we arrived that never completely went away, so that's why I took off a star.

My family, including our dogs, just spent the most wonderful week at Boys Oh Boy. The house was comfortable, clean, and had a well stocked kitchen (dishes, pots, pans, cutlery). When you first walk into the house you look through the big glass windows of the living room and view of the ocean is breath-taking. The covered front porch has baby/dog gates that allow you to sit with your toddlers or dogs without worrying that they will run off or fall down the steps. It was heavenly to sit on the porch in the rocking chairs and watch the waves crashing, the birds soaring on the winds overhead, and take in the sunsets followed by stars popping out one by one as the night fell. The staff at Oak Island Accommodations was very helpful from check in to check out and even provided goodie welcome bags for our dogs. We feel that it was well worth the money and are looking forward to returning next year.
