My Great Escape features a Smart TV with basic cable in living room with a Smart TV in the queen bedroom. Wireless internet access. Private ocean view balcony with furniture where you can relax and listen to the waves. Cold outdoor community shower available at each condo building. About 150 paces from the walkway to the beach. Seasonal community pool, covered picnic area with park grills. The condo community is just across the street from the Oak Island Golf Club and a short drive to Oak Island Lighthouse. Convenient to local restaurants, shops, parks and more.

The OIBV pool is open annually from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Specific condo communities may keep the pool open past Labor Day depending on the homeowner's association's recommendation.

Great location with an amazing view! The decorative style is a little outdated but it’s still nice. The pool and the beach were a quick walk from the condo.

A sweet rental for our young family. The kids loved the bunk beds, and the entire community was very quiet. My husband went to the golf course across the street, and the beach was right there by our building. We drove to the other side of the island and are glad we didn't go there because it's a long drive. From our rental, it was just a quick hope over the bridge to Southport to check that out and take the ferry. We pretty much lucked out on this one.
