Ocean Wind was built in 2020 and is located on the East Beach section of Oak Island. This four bedroom, four and a half bath vacation rental is an ocean view property that features a private pool.

This vacation rental welcomes up to four dogs per reservation year-round and for off-season monthly rentals.

Equipped with basic cable and wireless internet access, guests are able to stay connected or unplug from reality!

Ocean wind also features a high chair, baby gate, game table and elevator. Private seasonal pool, covered porch and deck with furniture. Features an enclosed outside shower with hot and cold water.

"We loved the location. And since we were there during Tropical Storm Debby, it was great to have the pool which our great nieces and nephew were in and out of between storms. The house well equipped but could use more wine glasses and a cork screw. The house had just been painted so we really blame any problems on them. They had not put any bed spreads back in the appropriate rooms as they were supposed to. Also we decided to run a wash Tuesday night right before eating. We turned washer on ran down to eat only to find a flood upstairs because the painters had not hooked up the water line back to the washer. I have to say OIA came through very quickly . We enjoyed the elevator as my husband and I are both in our mid 70's and he has some mobility issues. The painting was done well but things were not put back as they should have been which was neither the owners nor OIA's fault. We scoured the pots and pans and some need replacing. There were a ton of pool toys, beach seats and even a wagon to tote all to beach. Tropical Storm Debby prevented most beach activity. We would definitely rent this house again Location is great. I waived between a 4 &5 but decided most problems were the painter's lack of completing the job adequately"

The location, it is quiet, this is our second year. We love that dogs are allowed! The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils. We cook our meals, buying fresh seafood and doing a boil. This is a great home for disabled folks who need an elevator. My mom would not be able to go if it were not for the accessibility.

This was our second year staying in Ocean Wind and we love the location.....beautiful setting and so convenient to shopping and restaurants! We are disappointed that they are putting in a huge parking parking lot for public access that will take away what is now a lovely less crowded area of the beach. And it was definitely noisy with the new house being built next door.

Perfect. Brand new house only the second person to rent. Home is impeccable. Very private short walk to the beach. We stayed non peak so there were no crowds. It was like having our own private beach. Small private pool but it was perfect. Great set-up for just lounging and relaxing. 4 lounge chairs and a hammock swing around the pool was perfect for our party of 5. A nice feature was the covered deck separate from the pool especially nice if you bring kids or pets. You can sit on any deck to enjoy amazing views and listen to all the beach sounds, peaceful. There are houses close by but never felt like those houses intruded on our privacy. We cooked three dinners in the house and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We did not come across one thing it did not have that we needed. New build and only second renters very clean and everything was new. If I were to suggest one change for this size house it would be that they change to a bigger outdoor table. There is only a small round four chair outdoor table. All the furnishings in the house were perfect. Plenty of seating in the living areas though admittedly we did not spend much time there. It truly was a home away from home for us. We would stay here again. The rental company ensured check in day was smooth and there was plenty of communication with the entire process, easy. Problem now is we will have such high standards for any future house rentals!

Loved the rental, from location (close to beach, grocery store and shops) to the beach house itself. Just the right size for a small party of people; plenty of room and amenities (fully stocked kitchen and plenty of items for the pool and beach.) Rental is nicely decorated, clean and airy.
