Take a step back and relax during your stay in this beautiful home nestled among the large oak trees that the island is named after. A quiet getaway, Shore 2 Relax provides plenty of room for your group. This home sits in a great location that allows you to listen to the sea breezes blowing through the trees while still being just two streets over from Middleton Avenue which leads to a public beach access that is open to golf cart, bicycle and pedestrian access. A pair of public beach accesses with parking for cars are available at 3rd Street East and 2nd Place West both of which are a two minute car ride away.

The master bedroom sits right off the kitchen area and features a king-size bed, a private bath and a spacious walk-in closet.

The second bedroom houses a queen bed and a built-in closet with a sliding door. The final bedroom sports a great spot for the kids with a double over double bunk bed that stores a trundle bed underneath to go along with an additional twin bed to round out the room.

The living area provides plenty of cozy sitting options all centered around the large flat screen TV that is equipped with streaming capabilities.

After a long day at the beach you can rinse off in the hot and cold outdoor shower before you prepare to cook dinner in the beautiful kitchen or fire up the charcoal grill outside.

Pour yourself a glass or wine or make a drink at the bar located in between the living area and kitchen before you head downstairs to the fenced yard to light up the fire pit for good times with family and friends.

If you aren't a fan of sitting by the fire you can kick back on the screened porch stocked with plenty of outdoor seating and even a TV.

The possibilities are endless and you will be "Shore 2 Relax."

As soon as my husband and I walked into the house, we could tell how much time and effort was put in to make it clean and welcoming to guests. The king bed was super comfortable! We even got to see some hawks from the back porch! Only complaint is in order to contact the owner you have to call the Oak Island Accommodations phone number. They dont reply on Vrbo.

Lovely spot. Very comfortable place to stay for a family vacation. Good proximity to beach and local restaurants. I only wish we knew renting a golf cart was something we should have thought of for this location! If we stay again we will remember to rent a golf cart in advance! We were very happy with the home though!

My husband and I rented this property for a week-long beach getaway with some family. It is a lovely house, and we particularly loved the screen porch and sun deck options. The house looks very new inside and is nice and cozy. The rental company was quick to respond. The beach is about a 10-min walk from the house. We rented a golf cart for the week which is a very popular thing to do in OKI, and I highly recommend doing that, as there are designated golf cart parking areas at the beach access. The house is about 3-5 miles from OKI restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream parlors, etc. If you value being able to walk/bike to those places, you will want to rent closer to 30-40th st. The house met our needs, and linens/towels were provided. We brought our own paper products, although there were a few rolls of toilet paper, and some dish soap/dishwasher packets provided by the rental. We did cook while there, and while the kitchen has basics, you will need to supplement with your own items if you’re a “serious” chef. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!
