Yanchaville is an amazing home base for a quintessential coastal getaway. This open-concept living space is ideal for spending quality time together and allows for conversation to flow. Enjoy the provided books, games and puzzles after a day of playing in the waves.

The modern kitchen has everything you need, so don't worry about bringing any pots and pans from home. To make your coffee in the morning, both a Keurig and drip machine are offered. Walk over to the covered, screened-in porch outside and take a sip of your morning brew as you listen to the birds and the breeze off the ocean.

Down the hall, you'll find the bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed and shares a bathroom with a bedroom including two twin-over-twin bunk beds. Farther down the hall is the main bedroom, with a king bed and an en-suite bathroom. Each bedroom has a television for your entertainment.

Outside, guests will find a picnic table and a charcoal grill on the ground level. There is also an outdoor shower with both hot and cold water so you can rinse off those sandy feet. This rental even provides a beach cart to haul your things to and from the beach, and a washer and dryer for you to leave the sand in Oak Island and not take it home! Spend lazy evenings gathered around the backyard firepit, an ideal location for an outdoor oyster roast.

This vacation rental welcomes up to two dogs per reservation year-round.

This home is within walking distance of the Ocean Crest Pier, which has a convenience store and bar. The nearest beach access is about a five-minute walk away and is located just to the west of Island Way, a fine dining restaurant.

Nearby is Sea Biscuit Wildlife Shelter, where you can take a tour and see the staff and selfless volunteers that help rehabilitate injured coastal birds. A short drive from multiple local shops and restaurants, you're in the heart of Oak Island when you book Yanchaville!

We loved the location! We were super close to the beach but still had a lot of privacy and walking space for our four-legged babies. The house had everything we could have needed or wanted. We especially loved having both a screened in and uncovered porch. The beds were also very comfy!

We decided to break from tradition over the Christmas holidays this year and spend the week on Oak Island rather than in the NC mountains where we live. Since we knew it wouldn't be a typical warm weather beach vacation, we looked for a house that was not oceanfront but was convenient to the beach for walking. We also wanted a house that had a good setup for having my daughter and her family visit for a few days, and also a kitchen/dining area that could accommodate the 6 of us plus family living in the Shallotte/Supply area for meals. Yanchaville was just perfect for our needs. We really liked the open kitchen/dining/living area as well as the arrangement of the 3 bedrooms, with the master suite set apart towards the back of the house and the other 2 bedrooms down a hallway separated from the living area. The grand-kids loved the bunk beds, and the queen bed in the other bedroom was good for my daughter and her husband - and it is great to have a king bed in the master bedroom as well as an adjoining bathroom. My husband was particularly impressed with the Ansel Adams prints in the master bedroom - not your typical beach decor! The whole house is nicely decorated, the furniture is comfortable, and the kitchen is well-equipped. We actually got to spend a little time on the screened porch the first day we were there - and if the weather had been nicer, I would have parked myself on the glider with a cup of coffee and a book and really enjoyed it! We hope to come back to Yanchaville - maybe next Christmas, if not before!
